Since 2013, Matoco Flowers has been a member of tulpen.nl, a franchise organisation that supplies tulips to tulpen.nl. which is a collective made up of tulip forcing companies. Our shared passion for tulips is the basis for responding to our customers’ wishes, including their preference for sustainably produced flowers.
To offer you even better service, tulpen.nl has its own packaging company so that we can deliver our tulips entirely retail ready. Tulpen.nl produces and processes the tulips supplied by Matoco Flowers as based on three important criteria.
Quality
We deliver our products retail ready. This not only reduces the number of processing operations throughout the supply chain, but it is also sustainable and reduces the time between harvest and retailing. This extends the vase life of these tulips. Working together with an optimally organised logistics chain, we guarantee our customers a vase life of seven days.
People, planet, profit
Both our tulips and our packaging materials are produced under PPP conditions. We guarantee this responsibility for people (working conditions) and the planet (ecological quality). Sustainability, safety, quality and social involvement are factors that determine our business processes. And so is the certification of our affiliated companies.
